Sakakawea Fishing Report
Current Lake Level 1807.80 msl / no
change from last week
No Report - not much
activity, water still pretty cold.
Ft Stevenson boat ramp is
ready for use.
Centennial new low water ramp
is usable, south of the main ramp..
Wolf Creek ramp is usable.
If you get out pitch jigs to
the shallows and lindy rig behind the boat, go as slow as you can
or even anchor off points and gravel bars.
Look in the backs of the bays or on gravel bars.

Audubon Fishing Report
The walleye bite is getting
started. You can pitch jigs tipped with minnows or crawlers to the
shallows or pull spinners tipped with minnows and crawlers in
14-20 feet of water. Some real nice fish being caught right now.
Check for pike and bass in
the back bays, they are real active also.

The bite is still somewhat
sluggish. Walleyes are in the spawn. There are a few being caught
however don't expect limits.
Look for walleyes, pike and
bass to be in the bays in shallow water. Pitch or troll jigs real
slow in shallow water.

yet
useable, they have concrete to the top Yahooooo,
finally! The ramp will be open for use on Monday May 5th.
Wolf Creek ramp is usable.
If you get out pitch jigs to
the shallows. Look in the backs of the bays on on gravel bars.
Crappy weather is still holding alot of people back.

Ice is 60-70% gone.
Centennial new low water ramp is usable the way it looks. Ice is
out to middle of the lake south of the ramp so the mouth of the
bay and the sunken islands are fishable by boat.
Ft Stevenson boat ramp is not
useable, they are going to poor concrete to the top Yahooooo,
finally!

There are some sheets floating around but all ramps are useable
and you can get to the east end embankment from the ramps.
Walleye activity should be
good right now.

Lake is still 95% ice
covered. Some spots have open water for shore fishing and you can
access the ice for ice fishing in lots of areas. Please use
extreme caution.
Douglas, Garrison and
Centennial Bays are producing pike and some walleyes. Fish 4-15
feet of water.

some open water on the north lake, you could launch small boats
from shore but watch the ice flow.
