monday. Did not even mark much for fish but water temps are still
pretty warm.

Wed/Thu and Fri. We caught about 18 walles and kept 11 fish in 3
days from 15 to 21 inches. Most fish were caught in 22-25 feet of
water and on crawlers. Some on minnows and leeches. We dragged
jigs, and lindy rigs.

Congratulations to Jeff
"Bonzo" Brennan and Sam Rolloff for their win of the 2008
Governors Walleye Cup. Weights were down this year but numbers of
fish is good. With the water levels on the increase we are looking
at some real fine fishing in the not to distant future. In a
couple to 3 years there will be lots of 17-22 in walleye.
Fishing for now is mixed
between shallow and deep. All baits are working and so is deep
cranks on the east end around the seven sisters.

Nothing has changed. The bite on Audubon is fair
to good. Some people are finding a good evening bite on the
edges of the weeds in 17-20 feet of water. Start trolling spinners
tipped with crawlers or leeches to produce more fish. Work the
inside or outside of the weeds.
